Implementing the Belt and Road Initiative and advance China-Thailand friendly cooperation, Sagebot received the delegation from Thailand Ramatibodi Hospital

On April 14, Mr. Zhiyuan Yan , General Manager of Harbin Sagebot Intelligent Medical Equipment Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Sagebot"), received Dr. Piyamitr Sritara, President of Ramathibodi Hospital(a famous public hospital in Thailand)and Dr. Sirintara Singhara Na Ayudhaya,Vice President of Ramathibodi Hospital, and the medical team of the hospital, and Ms. Wanpimon Senapadpakorn and her staff from Mahidol University, and other lines of 11 members of the visiting team. Mr. Zifeng Yang, Bangkok Innovation Cooperation Center of Chinese Academy of Sciences, participated in the visit.

Mr. Zhiyuan Yan, General Manager of Sagebot, extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Ramathibodi Hospital, and introduced the company's industry background, development history and core advantages in detail, including focusing on the company's conduct by independent researching and development named KangDuo Robot abdominal endoscopic surgery system with independent intellectual property rights (hereinafter referred to as KangDuo Robot ). As a medical robot, every link of KangDuo Robot from research and development to clinical trials is supported by clinical trial data from domestic first-class medical institutions, creating KangDuo clinical evidence-based medicine evidence chain. The company has cooperated with Peking University First Hospital, Peking Union Medical College Hospital and other first-class medical institutions in China. Up to now, hundreds of clinical trials have been completed. And in the Chinese Journal of Urology, European Urology Focus, Jounal of Endourology, British Journal of Urology, Journal of Urology and other top journals at home and abroad have published many literatures. President Sritara introduced that the Ramatipodi Hospital was established in 1965, which is one of the two royal hospitals in Thailand, being also the affiliated teaching hospital of Mahirong University Faculty of Medicine, committed to the innovation and development of medicine, teaching and research, technology and service level of the world's top medical institutions. At present, the hospital has a total of 2 wards with more than 1700 beds. It has a high-end radiological diagnosis and treatment center, cardiovascular and metabolic center, toxicology center and other advantageous disciplines.

Advancing China-Thailand friendly cooperation and writing a new chapter in the Belt and Road Initiative

The Belt and Road Initiative was formally proposed in 2013. At present, it has become an important platform for international cooperation in the new era. China and Thailand have expanded cooperation in various areas under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. The visit of the Ramatipodi Hospital team is the beginning of the friendly cooperation between Sagebot and Ramatipodi Hospital.

Mr. Zhiyuan Yan expressed the hope that the two sides could further enhance mutual understanding, explore substantive cooperation and technical exchanges, promote China-Thailand friendly cooperation through this visit, and jointly write a new chapter on the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative and the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Sagebot. At the same time, we hope that KangDuo Robot can further open the Thai market and even the whole Southeast Asian market through this cooperation with Ramatipodi Hospital, realize the popularization of robotic surgery technology, and benefit more doctors and patients around the world.

In-depth visit to Sagebot to accelerate the internationalization process of high-end medical equipment of China

On April 14, accompanied by Mr. Zhiyuan Yan, the delegation from Ramatipodi Hospital of Thailand visited the Research, Development and Production Base of Sagebot in Harbin, HIT Center, HIT Museum and other places.

President Sritara said that during his visit, he learned about the history of HIT, gained a new understanding of China's scientific and technological development achievements, and especially refreshed his understanding of Chinese high-end medical equipment production technology. After visiting the R & D and production base of Sagebot, He was shocked by the high-end and sophisticated production equipment and orderly management of the medical scientific research collaboration team. Meanwhile, He was also confident about the product reliability of KangDuo Robot. And they were willing to do their best to promote the cooperation with Sagebot and hope that Thailand will be the first stop of Sagebot to step out of China, jointly promote the internationalization process of Chinese high-end medical equipment, and witness the innovation and development of Chinese high-end medical equipment.

On April 15, the delegation arrived in Beijing, Accompanied by Prof. Xuesong  Li from the First Hospital of Peking University, Prof. Liang Cui, co-founder & Director & Medical Consultant of Sagebot, Mr. Jianlong Zou, Vice President & Chief commercial officer of Suzhou KangDuo Robot Co., LTD. (hereinafter referred to as "Suzhou KangDuo"), and Ms. Yue Zhang  from Suzhou KangDuo Commerce Department, visited the Beijing Endoscopy Exhibition Museum, Peking University First Hospital; Observe and learn KangDuo Robot demonstrated by Prof. Cheng Chen of Peking University First Hospital to assist radical resection of prostate cancer, and visit surgical patients. Especially when they visited the Beijing Museum of Endoscopy, after learning about the history of the development of instruments, they were impressed by the continuous innovation of Chinese medical instruments, and really felt the speed of China.

In the afternoon of the same day, the delegation also visited the KangDuo Robot Surgery Innovation and Training Center (Beijing) (hereinafter referred to as the KangDuo Robot Training Center), test-drove the KangDuo Robot, and conducted animal experiments. During this observation, learning and test drive experience, the visiting group showed great interest in the open surgeon console of KangDuo Robot . The team of doctors said that KangDuo Robot is comfortable to operate, have flexible instruments, and smooth operation in the field. Especially in the past, the use of the camera console, long time operation will feel sore eyes, cervical and lumbar spine discomfort, but the open surgeon console effectively avoids these problems. They hoped to jointly carry out overseas clinical research with Sagebot and KangDuo Robot in the future to benefit more patients.

The medical journey of the visiting group of Ramatipodi Hospital in Thailand ended in a pleasant conversation, but the progress of Sagebot will continue as always -- Sagebot will get to know and even cooperate with more and more top medical institutions in the world. Will lead domestic surgical robot with independent intellectual property rights – KangDuo Robot to the world, realize the global popularization of robotic surgical technology, benefit doctors and patients worldwide.
